We were so lucky to be in Pittsburgh before heading to a work trip in November. It was a perfect time to through my sister Erin a baby shower! As usual, it went a little overboard..which, makes for a perfect shower! These were the favors....they were homemade pumpkin butter by Kerri and Sara.
My grandmother put together this cute clothesline of baby clothes from my great-grandmother (Nanny) to Erin and we tried to guess who they belonged to.
The "everything nice" part was the gifts
We played a True and False game guessing if advice from the turn of the century was still considered good advice.
These were pictures of Erin, Rico and my mom and grandmother:
Cute pom poms to make it festive!
Mom painted the inside of mason jars to put flower in and put cute candles everywhere.
One of Kerri's friends from work made the cake and did such a great job, it looked exactly like the paper sample we gave her to replicate (you can see it underneath)...plus it was a banana cake so it was also delicious!
There were two tables set up: one for Sugar (desserts) and the other for Spice (for savory dishes)
I really just included this next picture because Kerri was making a funny face
Beasley and the baby
A ridiculous amount of presents...can you say first granddaughter?
Julie and Gram
Janine and Lauren (also expecting a baby boy in January)
Becky and Bailey
Sara, the master of all things craft!
Kelli, Bonnie and Krissi
Julie, Gram and Mom
Mom made the baby a book about the day Erin and Rico were married..."so freaking thoughtful" as Dwight would say
Rico got the baby a gift too...a picture of the temple for the room
It was so fun putting this on for Erin. Everyone worked so hard, especially Kerri and Mom and Sara. We are excited to meet the little miss in February!
I'm so glad you took all of these pictures!
