Marbella, Spain

Since my husband has been quite stressed at work these days, we decided to do a long weekend away.  Our criteria: warmest spot we could find in the shortest flight possible!  Jeremy's criteria was just flip flops and shorts...so we ended up in Marbella, Spain.  It was such a treat to be on the Mediterranean sea and enjoy warmer weather!   Our "room" was really a condo and next time we will bring some friends to share the ample space!  Anyone want to meet us there?!?

Nice view, huh?

My cute little bag of Valentine treats from Jeremy!

In front of the Don Juan statue, which my husband is definitely NOT similar to at all!

Puerto Banus, just lovely

The common sun-bather...le chat! (the cat)

This was taken just moments before Jeremy spilled his matching drink all down himself and into my purse!

For Valentine's Day we went into the old town of Marbella for dinner.  It was fun to be there as the sun set and experience the charm of the little streets and walkways in the dark.

In the spirit of the day....

This was the main square "Orange Square" with lots of little restaurants and a garden in the center.

We ate at a little Italian restaurant in basically a pedestrian alley, it was lovely and quaint!

After dinner we walked down towards the beach past this cool fountain that changed colors.

Cool mosaic bench in the park!

Dessert at this appetizing named ice cream stand...I think not!

Sunday we went to church at the English branch...funny, huh?  It was all British people and there were about 25 of us.  I guess in the high season it is very crowded, but it did end about 15 minutes early which was a nice surprise!  Then we saw this area and decided to walk around for the rest of the afternoon before our flight home.

Jeremy had to cover his fish head with the lemon because he could see its teeth and it freaked him out..ha ha!

I can't even imagine what type of food they serve here on the Spanish coast at the Versailles Wok!

Thanks Jeremy for a lovely weekend with you!
