Provins - A Medieval Town

A few Saturdays ago, Jeremy and I went to the Medieval town of Provins.  It was so much fun to see this small town that is still completely walled in with ramparts and big draw bridges.  We intended on eating lunch there but hit some major traffic on the way so sadly stopped at McDonalds - don't judge!  I'm sure some movies have been filmed here...enjoy the pictures!

The town square where they would post the king's announcements, and probably execute people...

Cute hotel in the town.

Our usual first attempt at a selfie!

My size door...must have had tiny French people

There were cute shops that were in the basements with very steep steps leading down.

After Provins, we went grocery shopping.  We parked underground and then grabbed a cart, which just magnetically clicked into the escalator, so as to not kill the person pushing the cart...or a runaway baby in the cart!

This aisle is completely dedicated to yogurt...both sides, as far as you can see.

They also were pumping music through that sounded like a latin american discotheque. Ha Ha!
