Lake Annecy

Jeremy needed to go to Southern France to visit with some work distributors, so I went with him and we made a week of it.  We started out by taking a train to Lyon and then renting a car to drive to Lake Annecy.  It is in the French alps and not too far from Geneva, Switzerland.  It was one of the most beautiful places we have ever been.  The lake was crystal clear and the town was enchanting.  Unfortunately, it rained pretty hard and we were troopers for a good three hours, but eventually just went back to our hotel.  Luckily, Jeremy booked us a beautiful hotel and it was fun to be there, even if it was just for one night!

Our cute hotel:

The lake:

They call this place the "Venice of France" because of all of the canals running through the old town.

We wanted to eat at one of these cute restaurants on the water, but the electricity went out because of construction down the road and they all ended up closing.  We did find a delicious pizza place though!

I don't know if you can tell from the picture, but this is one of the most crooked houses I have ever seen.  It would make my father-in-law crazy!!!

Erin sent me these cute pics while we were traveling.  She is just getting cuter if that is possible!
