Jeremy's Birthday @ Monet's Garden in Giverny

We feel so lucky that our good friends let us use their scooter and van for the weeks they were traveling in the states.  We had so much fun getting out of Paris.  We went and checked out the progress of the temple being built in Versailles.  It is located across the street from the gardens of Versailles, specifically Marie Antoinette's hamlet.  We took this shot through a little viewing window.

We walked around the neighborhood too, we love the town of Versailles and sometimes wish we lived there!

For Jeremy's birthday, we went to Giverny, home to Monet and where he painted several paintings, including the famous "Water Lilies."  We ate at this adorable place and had a confit de canard salad (AKA duck cooked in its own fat with a salad)....Delicious!

The famous bridge...good luck standing on it to get a picture :)

I would love this table in my own house someday!

It was a lovely day with the best husband a girl could ever have!
