Bon soir! Ok, we have arrived. I am in Paris for the first time since I realized we are moving here so I feel like I am seeing things a bit differently than before. I have made it a personal goal to find all of the similarities to the U.S. instead of all the differences...I think it will make me feel calmer and more excited to be moving here in a few months. Today we flew 9+ hours straight from SLC which was actually pretty nice. Jeremy and I slept at least 6 hours thanks to our drugs! We got to our tiny, tiny apartment but it is actually really nice. I will post pics tomorrow. It feels like a decent size hotel room and more importantly it is clean!!! After we got here I took a four hour nap...I should try to stay awake but it never happens. I am glad to be here and even more excited to get a good night's rest NOT on an airplane! Bonne nuit!
I can hardly wait to see your adventures in Paris, that is if you don't mind me tagging along . . . Having never been there myself this will be great for me and I Iove the idea of finding all the things that are the same between the USA and France! Enjoy every bite :)

ReplyDeleteHey, you got to watch THE show last night didn't you! If you watch Downton Abby in English and then in French, maybe you could pick up a few phrases here and there. Just a thought.
